Haroldo Jacobovicz, the Founder of Horizons Telecom

Jacobovicz was born in Curitiba, Brazil in 1961. He attended Colégio Stella Maris for his primary school education before proceeding to Colégio Militar, where he completed his high school education. In 983, Haroldo Jacobovicz graduated from the University of Parana, where he was undertaking a Civil Engineering course.

In mid-1985, Jacobovicz joined Exxon Mobil Corporation, an oil distribution company. He worked as a market analyst for the company in the South Region before he was moved to the company’s headquarters, where he was responsible for commercial tactics and new business nationally.

In 1986, Haroldo Jacobovicz decided to return to his hometown of Curitiba, Brazil, where he became an advisor to the Technical Board of Itaipu Hydroelectric Power Plant. After working as an advisor at Power Plant, he returned to his business with Minauro Company, of leasing and maintaining computers. Being a pioneer in the sector, he bagged several awards and bids from all over Brazil. Despite being decades ago, his logic is still positively felt in Brazil.

In 2010, Haroldo Jacobovicz built Horizons Telecom, whose main aim was to serve the corporate market. The accessibility of the fiber network and advanced equipment at the company resulted in the company being the best supplier of the country’s telecommunications. In 2020, Horizons Datacenter was introduced that would help in the digital transformation of society.
